Whoa! I really loved the second song, right up my alley! Per usual, I have MM to thank for introducing me to something new.
What I was not expecting (as I'm listening to this at the top of my morning US time) was to be struck by Maverick's intro to the third pick. Hearing him talk about the generational effects from the Vietnam War- the war where my grandfather died, the effects of chemicals sprayed not just there but at home for "testing", the things I've sorted out with my own family, the effects I spent part of my career focused on - whew, THAT GOT ME!
It was so good hearing the thought behind the songs... Nothing better than hearing the why... Clearly, none of the picks came from a superficial place. At all. Keen to hear who you'd like to see take the Aux next?! Any ideas?
